ISSUES presents a new series of paintings by Swedish artist Karl Norin. In his truly unique process, synthetic fur is vacuum-pressed against glass in a resin cast. The result is an objectimage, defined as a painting but made using a sculptural technique. It doesn’t represent anything other than itself yet our eyes wants to see something in the shiny blue abyss.
